1.0. About guids

The vaules of ETPRO and PB guids are identification numbers

which gives possibility to identity players by something more stable than nickname.

Why newest and valid guid is so important?

Match referees will check guids valid for every player before cup match starts.

It prevents from using not registered players (ringers).

Only players registered by application (or team leader request)

are able to play in cup matches

Guids may change in few situation:

-> ETPRO GUID:

changing or adding new hard disc

changing or adding new ethernet card

-> PUNKBUSTER GUID:

after re-installing the game

after deleting etkey file (/../../etmain/etkey)

Now, you should remember not to make any hardeware upgrades

during the cup.

If you changed your hard disk during cup days, you should

talk about that with cup admin immediately!

1.1. How to check ETPRO guid?

Step I

Turn on the game and join the server

which is working on ETPRO mod (version 3.1.0 or 3.1.9).

Used IP in example is the {TE666} clan server IP. It's running ETPRO 3.1.0

Step II

After map loading, open console by pressing "~" key (under ESC key)

and write the following command:

/guids

Now find your nick and your guid on the list (it's near your nickname)

Guids list

Write your ETPRO guid on a piece of paper.

Note: ETPRO guid lenght: 40 !

1.2. How to check PUNKBUSTER guid?

Step I

Turn on the game. You don't have to join any server.

Just stay in main menu. Open console by pressing "~" (under ESC key)

and write following command:

/pb_myguid

Step II

Now you can see your PB guid.

Write it on a piece of paper.

Note: PUNKBUSTER guid lenght: 32 !
